  6. a future bride to be with 5 bundles of joy preferably with a man whose mom can make a mean casserole, or subpar dumplings compared to your mother at least, and attends bible study every Saturday.

  7. a quarter that got jammed in between the couch cushions, a collector's item that could have been worth something if it didn’t get lost

  8. every guy’s type, apparently, and they make sure to tell you of it

  9. the breath you use to blow away the pappus of a dandelion, a wasted huff on a wish that will not sprout

  10. an ABC whose grandparents ask if she can understand them, or if she can eat sunflower seeds like they did in China

  11. a qi pao, americanized, tightly fitted on a chinese-american body, fighting for what she really is.

  12. the filled binder of notes and pages, which hurts to carry, but you must carry it because it’s all you have to go off of. 

  13. a “slim tea” tea bag, handed down from generation to generation 

  14. number 14 “十四” which means “will die” in Chinese, and therefore unlucky
